The Enrolment Process

Thank you for considering Swan Hill Christian School for your child. Your child will be supported and nurtured in a caring, Christian environment, fully empowered to achieve their goals.

If you have made this important decision to enrol your child at Swan Hill Christian School, please read through the following regarding the application process.

Step 1: Enquiry & Tour of School

Obtain an Enrolment Information Package with all the relevant information about enrolling at Swan Hill CS. Please make an appointment to have a tour of our facilities by calling the Office on (03) 5032 4199. If desired, arrange to meet with the Principal.

Step 2: Apply for each child

Submit a completed Enrolment Application form along with a $20 per family Enrolment Fee and a $100 deposit per family to the office. The Enrolment Fee is non-refundable. The deposit is refunded in full if the application is unsuccessful. If the application is successful the deposit is deducted from the fee.

Step 3: Enrolment & Learning Interview

The Office staff will contact you to discuss your Enrolment application and a formal interview will be arranged to meet with the Principal. Wherever possible, it would be helpful if all parents/guardians living with the child attend this interview.

Step 4: Offer

Acceptance to the School will be dependent on meeting the School enrolment requirements. All applicants will be notified shortly after the interview regarding the success of their application.

Required Documentation

Parents looking at enrolling their child at Swan Hill Christian School will need to supply copies of the following along with their enrolment form:

  • Completed Application Form
  • Copy of student’s Birth Certificate and/or Passport
  • Non-refundable application fee, as detailed in the current Fee Schedule
  • Reports from previous schools, if applicable
  • Any other reports/information that is relevant to your child’s education and/or health
