Pastoral Care & Wellbeing

All staff members at Swan Hill Christian School are concerned about the social, emotional and spiritual well being of primary aged students in their care. Staff members meet every morning before school to pray for students and families as part of our devotion time.

Circle time, devotions and character development programs such as Me Tree Program and The Young Peacemaker’s Program, are also opportunities for young people to learn to care for one another, share their feelings with others, pray for one another and develop strategies for solving conflict.

We have a Student Wellbeing Officer employed to help support students and families when required. We also have good connections with local churches should extra support be required in times of crisis.
