Learning Support & Extension

Some students require additional support or enrichment activities to help them achieve their individual best. For some structured education support or challenge, students may be withdrawn from class individually or in small groups, or may be assisted in the classroom by our trained and experienced Teacher Aides. Communication with parents always precedes specific education support or enrichment programs.

Our main Literacy support program is Minilit (which is for intervention in reading in the early years). These are conducted with our trained teacher aide.

Individual Education Programs (IEP) may be developed with consultation with teachers, parents and specialists if a student has specific learning or physical difficulties.  

We also provide extension Spelling, Reading and Mathematics programs to students who demonstrate high levels of achievement in those areas.
